I have been using Kontera since the end of 2005 on my site Importcarspecs.com. Which gets a lot of targetted traffic from search engines and converts well with Google Adsense. I used Content link ads of Kontera on pages with a lot of text (eg: BMW X5), along with Adsense. But they were not performing at all, compared to Adsense. But they do show relevant ads. At the start, when I implemented these ads, I made some money, so I kept them. For sometime, I have been thinking to remove their service from the site, but I was concerned about the sum I have made so far. Their payment limit is $100. I though I’d make it soon. But so far, no good. I guess it’s the same experience with most people (eg: Paul, Swollen Pickles, Phone boy). Folowing is the report of the revenue I have made for the last two years through them.

Kontera’s ECPM looks better, but not works out better. Last time I logged in they showed some User Agreement, we had to accept. I saw an intresting listing on it.
“1.5. ‘Revenue Share’ fifty percent (50%) of Net Revenue.”
So hereafter I have decided not to use it. And if anyone is going to join Kontera, please reconsider your decision (Coz, they owe me $40), don’t use it, coz Jhon Chow does, but try it. Rest in Peace Kontera!
I tried Adbrite way back, it’s worse, it’d show inappropriate ads and non-relevant ads. Tried Commision Junction, their ads are CPA ads, so didn’t convert much.
Joined TLA and Clicksor sometime back, but didn’t try them. Now I’ll try them both.Clicksor seems intresting, “Clicksor will pay webmasters up to 85% of the advertising revenue to place contextual ads on their Web sites or blogs. Payments are based on a net 15-term on a bi-weekly schedule.” They also have Contextual links, similar to Kontera Content links, should replace it for Kontera. And I’ll use TLA on this blog through their Wordpress TLA plugin, TLA has plugins for integrating ads to every blogging platform.
